We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychology graduate to join a dedicated SEND team within a welcoming school environment. This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, SEN Teaching, or Child Mental Health.
About You :
- A degree in Psychology or a closely related field (essential)
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
- Interest in pursuing a career in education, psychology, or therapy
- Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester
You will work closely with pupils who may present with:
- ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
- Speech, language and communication difficulties
What’s On Offer :
- Full-time, long-term position (Monday–Friday, Term-Time Only)
- Weekly pay between £500–£560 per week (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities : As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, your role may include:
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- Delivering small-group interventions
- Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
- Assisting with communication and social development activities
- Helping create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
This is a hands-on role where you will develop a deep understanding of how children learn, communicate, and interact.
